Rose Roure is a creating crafter born in Lyon (France). After ten years spent in art restoration, bringing back to life ancient seats, she works the debarked rattan cane, a smooth, soft and humble material, using a priori far technics. Flat surfaces such as folding screens and wall panels are clad with a myriad of small squares and lines, in patterns taken to classical ornements of history of art, illuminations, traditional embroideries, so as to create soft to touch relief pieces,
